081326 New Learning Management System
For information of all CRS Family ( Students and Faculty)

: DLSMHSI transitions to a unified Learning Management System (LMS) through its new iLS.Cloud platform, powered by Blackboard, for the new academic year.

The shift consolidates the institution’s existing learning platforms, replacing the Moodle-based Open LMS, which has been utilized by the undergraduate and graduate programs since 2018, and Canvas, which has been used by the SHSSHS department since 2019.

According to the Center for Continuing Education and Innovation (CCEI), Blackboard will serve as the unified LMS powering iLS.Cloud, centralizing course materials, learning activities, assessments, announcements, and other academic resources across the institution.

Ahead of the transition, CCEI conducted multiple onboarding sessions across different departments to familiarize faculty with the new platform and ensure readiness for its implementation.

The new iLS.Cloud platform can be accessed through ilscloud.dlsmhsi.edu.ph.

: All classes will be conducted online today, August 14, the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academics announced, following the suspension of classes in the City of Dasmariñas due to the southwest monsoon.

The College of Dentistry will likewise hold its Freshmen Orientation online. Meanwhile, the White Coat Ceremony will be moved to a later date, with details on the new schedule to be announced through a separate memorandum.

However, clinical clerks and student interns, will still proceed with their scheduled clinical rotations.

ANNOUNCEMENT

This is to notify everyone that onsite classes for August 10, 2026 - Monday shall be converted to ONLINE SESSIONS. The ISC Lasallian General Assembly is also cancelled and will be rescheduled until further notice. As such, please be advised of the following:

1. Level 4 Internship in Base Center DLSMHSI-DLSUMC shall remain status quo. Satellite Centers shall be dependent on the status of suspension in the concerned Satellite facilities. Interns of Satellite Centers are advised to communicate with their respective Level 4 Chairs.

2. Level 2 and 3 Classes shall be held using MS Teams. Please check MS Teams announcements from your respective Levels 2 and 3 Chairs.

3. Level 1 Classes shall utilize ONE ZOOM Link for August 10, 2026-Online Classes open from 7AM to 7PM. Break-out Rooms for each section of each program shall be created where students and faculty shall enter and exit based on class schedule. The Zoom Link has been emailed already to all those who registered in the Genesis Orientation for Level 1. If you have not registered yet, please do so using the link below. You will only receive the Zoom link if you have registered accordingly.

This decision follows the suspension of classes in the City of Dasmariñas due to Typhoon Dolphin, as declared by Mayor Jenny Barzaga. However, clinical clerkships and student interns will continue with their rotations as scheduled.

080926 FYI CRSentinels. The Institutional Student Council has postponed the August 10, 2026 - Monday Lasallian General Assembly. As such, all students of CRS to please stand by if there will be declaration of onsite suspension. In case there is, ONLINE SESSION via Microsoft Teams for Levels 2 and 3 shall proceed. Kindly check MS Teams Channel 3 for students for updates.

For Freshmen (Level 1) incoming students, please make sure you have registered in the Genesis Pre-Registration form. You will be emailed on instructions IF online classes shall be in place for August 10. If not, please proceed onsite to your assigned classes in DLSMHSI.

: The 2026 Lasallian General Assembly (LSGA) has been postponed due to inclement weather conditions, the Institutional Student Council (ISC) announced. The event was originally scheduled for Monday, August 10, which would have marked the start of the new academic year. The decision was made to prioritize the safety of the academic community, following a resolution by the Legislative Assembly.

The new schedule is yet to be announced.
