For its healing ministry, the DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER, a tertiary 250-bed hospital and the largest in Region IV-A, provides much-needed health care services not only to Caviteños but those from other nearby provinces too. Annually, it serves an average of 60,000 indigent patients through its free out-patient program, and countless more through its special medical programs such as iSmile with 1La Salle with Operation Smile International. The DLSUMC is proud of its team of dedicated, compassionate, and credentialed medical professionals who provide the best possible care to their patients. The team’s zeal for service is supported by its advanced medical equipment coupled with nurturing facilities, all contributing to the fulfillment of the Center’s promise to heal and nurture not only the body but the mind and soul too. The DLSMHSI ANGELO KING MEDICAL RESEARCH CENTER is the Institute’s ground zero for medical and health allied research. Here, faculty researchers conduct studies not only for the advancement of knowledge in their fields of specialization but also conduct researches that are relevant to the health concerns of the country:

The Center is equipped to conduct clinical trials and currently is the venue of the most number of clinical trials in the Philippines. Recently too, the Center for TB Research was awarded a grant from the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) to ensure continuous case finding and uninterrupted treatment of drug-resistant TB cases in the region.
