This Executive Order marks another step toward building a more organized, responsive, and student-centered government. Each directorate is established to address key areas of student governance—from strengthening our creative identity and internal partnerships, to advancing academic support and ensuring efficient operations.

𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 📣

Due to an untoward incident at the substation servicing JFH and PCH, a power interruption is currently affecting both buildings.

To ensure continuous learning while repairs are underway, the following temporary arrangements are in effect immediately:

• 𝗝𝗙𝗛 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗖𝗛 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀: All affected classes will shift to ONLINE ASYNCHRONOUS mode for the remaining hours today through tomorrow, 25 August 2026. Affected earlier classes may conduct make-up classes asynchronously or at a later time.
• 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀: Faculty and students should proceed with the lecture portions asynchronously.
• 𝗨𝗻𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: All classes in other university buildings will continue ONSITE as scheduled.

The University's Facilities team is actively working to resolve the issue and restore power.

Please monitor official University communication channels and stay tuned to USG online channels for further updates.

Following the Orange Rainfall warning of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) 𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟏𝟐:𝟒𝟕 𝐩𝐦, classes on August 17, 2026, are suspended due to inclement weather caused by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

• College classes are suspended.
• Basic Education classes will shift to Asynchronous Modality.
• JHS Midterm examination will resume when onsite classes resume.
• Office operations are suspended (except essential personnel).
