📣 CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY

Walang pasok sa lahat ng antas (public at private) sa buong lalawigan ng Cavite mula October 15 hanggang October 18, 2025, upang bigyang-daan ang Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) surveillance at ang paghahanda para sa “The Big One,” o malakas na lindol na posibleng maranasan sa hinaharap.

Sa panahon ng suspensyon ng face-to-face classes, ipatutupad ang Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) gaya ng online classes at modular learning upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral.

Ang hakbang na ito ay isang proactive effort upang mapangalagaan ang kalusugan at kaligtasan ng bawat Caviteño.

In collaboration with the Cavite Magiting Lions Club and under the close coordination of the College President of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD), the Hapag-Kalinga Feeding Program was officially launched on Thursday, October 9, 2025.

This initiative provided nutritious breakfast meals to over 200 students, with the primary objective of ensuring that learners were well-nourished prior to their midterm examinations. Guided by the belief that “to succeed, students must first be well-fed,” the program highlighted the critical role of nutrition in academic performance and student well-being.

Aligned with the institution’s ongoing efforts to promote student health, the program specifically aimed to support the physical and mental readiness of students, particularly those experiencing food insecurity. By addressing short-term hunger, the initiative contributed to improved concentration, classroom participation, and overall academic readiness.

Beyond its nutritional benefits, Hapag-Kalinga fostered a sense of community, compassion, and solidarity within the college. It served as a powerful reminder that student welfare is a collective responsibility—and a top priority for the institution.

This successful launch marks the beginning of more student-centered initiatives at KLD. As the institution continues to champion holistic education, Hapag-Kalinga stands as a model of how care, nourishment, and education can go hand in hand to empower learners and help them thrive.

It was an honor to welcome the esteemed delegation from the National Association for Social Work Education, Inc. (NASWEI) for their visit today, led by Prof. Flordelisa N. Escultura, NASWEI Vice President for South Luzon and the Program Chair for the BS Social Work Program of Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng Lucena.

The NASWEI team conducted an in-depth school validation for the BS Social Work program. They reviewed important requirements, from facilities and resources to the program documents and curriculum—all part of the process for validating the program and application for Institutional Membership.

We thank the NASWEI team for their professional school validation, a significant step that reinforces our commitment to upholding the highest quality and standard of our social work education. This process solidifies our dedication to providing a top-tier program that effectively prepares our students to become compassionate and effective change agents.
