On this blessed day, September 4, 2026, the NU Dasmariñas community came together in faith and thanksgiving to celebrate the Feast of St. Teresa of Calcutta through a solemn and joy-filled Holy Mass at 12:00 PM at the St. Teresa of Calcutta Chapel, presided over by Fr. King Eleazar Peñaranda. 💙💛

With reverence and gratitude, we remembered the life and legacy of St. Teresa of Calcutta—a woman who dedicated her life to serving the poor, the forgotten, and those in need. Her unwavering compassion and humility remind us that true service is rooted in love, and that even the smallest acts of kindness can bring hope to others.

The celebration was more than a liturgical gathering; it was a meaningful reflection of her enduring legacy—a legacy that calls us to become instruments of compassion, bringing Christ’s light and love into our families, our community, and the world. 🌍✨

As we look back on these moments, may the example of St. Teresa of Calcutta continue to inspire us to live with humility, serve with compassion, and extend kindness wherever it is needed.

May we continue to carry her message of love and service—not only in moments of celebration, but in the little things we do every day. 🤍

Today, we honor the bravery, sacrifices, and unwavering love for the Philippines of the heroes who shaped our nation’s history.

Their stories remind us that heroism is not only found on the battlefield or written in history books. It can also be found in ordinary Filipinos who choose to serve, stand for what is right, and contribute to the betterment of our nation.

l 𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐎 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 📢

ICYMI: On August 16, 2026, student leaders from NU Dasmariñas’ Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) gathered at the Demo Kitchen for the 1st RSO Meeting and Orientation for A.Y. 2026–2027. The session served as an essential starting point for organizations as they prepared to navigate the processes, requirements, and responsibilities that come with operating as a recognized student organization.

The orientation covered key organizational processes, including opening of RSO bank accounts and the transfer of account names, as well as the required forms and procedures for activity proposals, including off-campus activities and Community Extension (ComEx) projects. Student leaders were also oriented on the processes for booth activations, RSO merchandise proposals, and the preparation and submission of narrative reports.

A significant part of the discussion also focused on the A.Y. 2026–2027 RSO Manual, providing student leaders with a clearer understanding of the policies, standards, and guidelines that will govern their organizations throughout the academic year. With these processes laid out from the beginning, RSOs were encouraged to approach the new academic year with greater preparedness, accountability, and coordination.

More than an orientation, the gathering marked the beginning of another year of student-led initiatives and collaboration. By starting with clear guidelines and shared expectations, NU Dasmariñas continues to strengthen its student organizations as spaces where leadership, responsibility, and meaningful student engagement can take shape.

“The Filipino is worth dying for.”

Today, we commemorate Ninoy Aquino Day, marking 43 years since the assassination of Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino Jr. on August 21, 1983.

Forty-three years later, his life continues to remind us of the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering love for country that shaped a significant chapter in Philippine history.

As Nationalians, may we carry forward the spirit of Patriotism—having the courage to stand for what is right, to speak for what matters, and to serve our country with integrity and purpose.

May we remember the sacrifice. May we honor the courage. And may we continue the work of building a nation worthy of that sacrifice. 🇵🇭

In line with IM No. DS-ACO-OC-D-2026-12, released by the Office of the Academic Director, please be informed that the Midterm Examinations have been rescheduled to September 1–5, 2026, while the encoding of Midterm Grades is scheduled September 8, 2026.

This adjustment aims to ensure that all students receive adequate instructional time and sufficient opportunity to prepare for their examinations, despite disruptions caused by the class suspensions.

Students are encouraged to coordinate with their respective School Deans, Program Chairs, Principals, or Strand Coordinators for the specific examination schedule and other relevant details.
