🏆🎨 ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP FOR OUR BMMA CREATIVE!

Congratulations to BMMA student Jester John Cogollo for being named College Category Champion at the Titus Inkredible iDoodle Challenge 2026!

This marks another remarkable achievement for Jester, following his championship in the Globe Kadayawan 2026: 5G Building Craft - Paint Tomorrow Mural Design Contest together with his team. From collaborative mural work to individual creative competition, he continues to showcase his versatility, creativity, and artistic skills.

His achievement also earned ₱10,000 worth of school and office supplies for the UM-College of Computing Education.

Congratulations, Jester! Your BMMA family is proud of you. Keep creating, exploring, and making your mark! ✨

Our BMMA and VAMMA community is proud to celebrate RJ Manlangit and Violy Peralta for bringing home 2nd Place and Best in Cinematography at DESTINATION: DAVAO 2026 , organized by Hulagway sa Davao last July 29, 2026, at the New Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Sangguniang Panglungsod, Davao City.

Their short film, "Lugar lang, kuy", is proof that a simple story, when told with passion and creativity, can leave a lasting impact.

RJ served as the Director of Photography, Editor, Actor, and Co-Writer, while Violy took the lead as the Main Writer, Camera Assistant, and Personal Assistant.

Your hard work and dedication to your craft have paid off, and we couldn't be happier to see your talent recognized. Keep creating, keep telling stories.

The Visionary Associates of the Multimedia Arts proudly congratulates "Lugar lang, Kuy" by arethey and fromyola for earning 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 and 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲 at the Hulagway sa Davao 2026 Video Making Competition with the theme "DESTINATION: DAVAO 2026 – ."

Beginning with the perspective of a native Davaoeño and student filmmaker, Lugar lang, Kuy captures the quiet moments that make Davao feel like home. Through the familiar phrase, "Lugar lang, kuy," the film transforms everyday commutes into a heartfelt reflection of the city's beauty, culture, and identity, proving that the most meaningful stories are often found in the ordinary.

Your achievement is a testament to the passion, creativity, and storytelling excellence of our fellow Multimedia Arts students. May this milestone inspire you to continue documenting stories that move people and celebrate the heart of Davao.

𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗘-𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗢 🎬

As part of the University of Mindanao's 80th Founding Anniversary celebration, the College of Computing Education was entrusted with producing three videos for the Memory Lane exhibit, highlighting the University's Past, Present, and Future.

Representing the future, the Bachelor of Multimedia Arts community composed of students from different year levels alongside BMA faculty members came together to bring to life "Universe-sity of Mindanao." The film envisions a future where the University of Mindanao continues to innovate, inspire, and rise beyond boundaries, becoming not only globally recognized but universally recognized as an institution of excellence.

More than just a film, this project reflects the creativity, collaboration, and dedication of the Multimedia Arts community. Every frame is a glimpse into a future shaped by innovation, imagination, and the collective vision of the Trojans behind the production.

To everyone who contributed their time, talent, and passion, thank you for making this vision possible.
