On May 11, 2026, the Alpha Phi Omega ng Davao City Alumni Association, together with the Alpha Phi Omega – Lambda Nu Chapter, successfully conducted “Operation Tuli” and an ice cream outreach activity for the residents of Binugao, Toril, Davao City. More than a medical and community service activity, the event became a living reflection of Alpha Phi Omega’s timeless principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. Through unity, volunteerism, and sincere concern for the welfare of the community, smiles replaced fear, laughter filled the surroundings, and hearts were touched by the simple yet powerful act of giving.

The activity brought together brothers who willingly shared their time, effort, resources, and compassion to ensure the success of the outreach program. Young beneficiaries were not only provided with free circumcision services but were also given moments of joy and comfort through the distribution of ice cream, turning an ordinary day into a memorable experience for the children and families of Binugao. In every smile seen and every gratitude expressed, the true spirit of APO shined brightly — proving that service is not measured by recognition, but by the lives we inspire and uplift.

This meaningful initiative would not have been possible without the generosity and support of our sponsors, Bro. Lean Alessandro Carreon and Bro. Mussolini Sinsuat Lidasan. Your kindness and willingness to help became a blessing to the community and an inspiration to everyone involved in this noble cause. Your support reminds us that when people unite for a common purpose, genuine change becomes possible.

To all the volunteers, sponsors, medical personnel, brothers, and community members who became part of this successful undertaking, thank you for proving that the heart of Alpha Phi Omega continues to beat strongly through acts of selfless service. May this outreach continue to inspire more people to serve humanity, strengthen brotherhood, and spread hope to communities in need. In a world that often needs compassion, this activity became a reminder that even the simplest act of kindness can leave a lasting impact on countless lives.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women whose love became our first home, whose sacrifices became the foundation of our dreams, and whose strength carried us through life’s hardest storms. A mother’s heart is one of the purest miracles in this world—loving without limits, giving without asking, and standing strong even when exhausted and unappreciated. Behind every successful child is a mother who prayed silently, fought battles no one saw, and chose her family every single day. Today, we celebrate not only mothers by blood, but every woman who nurtures, guides, protects, and loves with sincerity. To all mothers around the world: thank you for your endless patience, your sleepless nights, your warm embraces, and your unwavering faith in us. You are the living definition of courage, compassion, and unconditional love. May your hearts be filled with the same joy and love you have selflessly given to others. Happy Mother’s Day to the real queens, heroes, and angels of our lives.

Today, we honor the beating heart of our nation—the Filipino worker. This Labor Day is not just a date on the calendar; it is a powerful tribute to every calloused hand, every sleepless night, every sacrifice made in silence so that families may rise, communities may thrive, and the Philippines may stand strong. From the farmers who nurture the land under the scorching sun, to the fishermen who brave the restless seas before dawn; from the construction workers who build our cities brick by brick, to the teachers who shape minds and futures; from the healthcare heroes who heal with compassion, to the overseas Filipino workers who carry the weight of distance and longing just to provide a better life—each story is a testament to resilience, dignity, and unwavering hope.

Labor Day reminds us that behind every progress we celebrate is a worker who refused to give up, who chose to persevere despite hardship, and who believed that honest work is a noble act of love for country and family. It calls us not only to celebrate but to reflect—on the value of fair wages, safe working conditions, and the respect every worker rightfully deserves. Because true progress is not measured by how high we build, but by how well we uplift those who build it.

Let this day ignite a deeper sense of gratitude and responsibility within us—to honor labor not only with words, but with actions that protect, empower, and uplift every Filipino worker. May we continue to build a nation where no effort is unseen, no sacrifice is forgotten, and no worker is left behind. Mabuhay ang manggagawang Pilipino—ang tunay na lakas, dangal, at puso ng ating bayan.

On April 18, 2026, as the sun rose over Talikod Island, a powerful wave of compassion reached the communities of Barangay Linosutan, Cogon, Dadatan, and Sta. Cruz—not in words, but in action.

The Alpha Phi Omega Ng Davao City Alumni Association, in proud solidarity with the AFP Health Services, Camp Panacan Station Hospital, took part in the 4th Medical-Dental Mission – Talikod Island, bringing life-changing services to those who need them most. This meaningful initiative was made possible through the collaboration of Berwyn Masonic Grand Lodge No. 839 AF & AM (Illinois, USA), and organized by Advantage Seal, Sol Del Sur, and PhilPro. Held at the Brgy. Linosutan Gym from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the mission became a sanctuary of hope—where healing hands met grateful hearts.

With the steadfast support of local leaders—Brgy. Captain Margie M. Crusani (Linosutan), Brgy. Captain Robert Cantalijo (Cogon), Brgy. Captain Jimmy Gitigan (Dadatan)—alongside dedicated barangay officials and health workers, the initiative reached remarkable milestones:

✨ 77 individuals received free circumcision (Tuli)
✨ 250 patients were given dental care and brighter smiles
✨ 400 community members benefited from medical consultations

But the mission didn’t end with treatment—it extended to compassion:
🎁 Gift-giving activities that sparked joy
📚 Distribution of books to inspire young minds
✏️ Distribution of school supplies to support education
🩴 Slippers for comfort and dignity
🍬 Supplies and kiddie food packs that brought smiles to every child

This was more than a mission—it was a testament to what happens when Leadership, Friendship, and Service unite for a greater cause.

Across the waters, beyond distances, and through every act of kindness, Alpha Phi Omega continues to prove that service knows no boundaries—only purpose.

💙 In service, we do not just reach places—we reach lives.

The grave could not hold Him, the darkness could not silence Him, and death itself was not strong enough to keep Him—because love refused to lose. Easter is not just a story of an empty tomb, it is the living proof that no pain is final, no failure is forever, and no night is too long for the light to break through. In the quiet of that morning, when hope seemed buried and hearts were heavy, something eternal happened—life conquered death, and purpose rose from despair. This is the day that reminds us that even in our lowest moments, when everything feels lost and broken, God is still working in silence, preparing a miracle we cannot yet see. The resurrection is a promise that every tear has meaning, every struggle has purpose, and every ending can become a beginning. Let this day awaken something deep within your soul—the courage to rise again, the faith to believe again, and the strength to live again. Because if the stone was rolled away, then nothing in your life is too heavy to be moved. Christ is risen, and with Him rises our hope, our purpose, and our unshakable reason to keep going.

The sky grew heavy not because the world ended, but because love chose to suffer quietly, to bleed without applause, and to stay when leaving would have been easier; Good Friday is not just a story of pain, it is the deepest reminder that real love does not run from sacrifice, it embraces it, carries it, and transforms it into something that saves others even at the cost of itself, and in a world that often celebrates power, noise, and victory, this day whispers a different truth—that the greatest strength is found in humility, the loudest victory in surrender, and the purest love in giving everything without asking for anything in return, so as we pause and remember, may we not only look at the cross but understand it, feel it, and live it, choosing kindness when it is hard, forgiveness when it is undeserved, and love when it feels impossible, because the story of this day was never meant to stay in history, it was meant to live in us.

On this Maundy Thursday, we are invited to pause and witness a love so profound it bends the world toward grace. It is a love that kneels, a love that washes feet, a love that gives without expectation, a love that humbles the mighty and lifts the weary. In the quiet moments of sacrifice, we see the courage it takes to serve others not for applause, but for the simple, unwavering truth that every life matters. Let us allow our hearts to be touched by this example, to remember that greatness is not measured in power or pride, but in the gentle acts of care, in the strength to forgive, and in the courage to love even when it is hardest. Maundy Thursday reminds us that every act of kindness, no matter how small, echoes through eternity. May our lives reflect that same quiet devotion, transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary expressions of love.

In the spirit of unity, service, and brotherhood, Alpha Phi Omega once again stood proud and present in one of Davao City’s most meaningful celebrations.

On March 28, 2026, the APO Davao City Alumni Association, under the dynamic leadership of Sis. Chinky Rodriguez, ANDAA President, and Bro. Atty. Prince Arthur Neyra, Regional Director of the APO Davao Administrative Region, actively joined the 89th Araw ng Dabaw celebration with the theme, “Dabawenyo Ko: Nilambo, Nagkahiusa.”

Together with the unwavering participation of Beta Phi Chapter, Beta Psi Chapter, Gamma Theta Chapter, Theta Beta Chapter, Lambda Nu Chapter, Lambda Xi Chapter, Kappa Theta Chapter, Epsilon Upsilon Chapter, and Omicron Omicron Chapter, the event became more than just a celebration—it became a powerful testament to what it truly means to be a Dabawenyo and a servant-leader.

Side by side, brothers and sisters marched not only in presence but in purpose—embodying the values of Leadership, Friendship, and Service that define Alpha Phi Omega. Each step taken reflected a shared commitment to unity, community pride, and the continuous pursuit of meaningful impact.

As Davao City celebrates its growth and resilience, APO remains a steadfast partner in nation-building—proving that when Dabawenyos come together with one heart and one mission, we do not just celebrate progress… we create it.

Padayon, APO. Padayon, Dabawenyos.

On March 2, 2026, the air in Mintal, Davao City, was alive with laughter, stories, and the unbreakable bonds of Alpha Phi Omega. At the welcoming home of Brod Iyoy and Sis Mshang, alumni from the APO Davao City Alumni Association gathered alongside collegiates from different chapters to honor a remarkable milestone—the 76th Anniversary of Alpha Phi Omega Philippines.

It was more than just a celebration. It was a living testament to the legacy of friendship, leadership, and service that binds us across time. From the heartfelt greetings exchanged between generations to the warm smiles that bridged years of memories, every moment reflected the spirit that Dr. Frank Reed Horton envisioned. Laughter echoed, stories were shared, and the flame of brotherhood burned brighter than ever.

Seeing alumni and collegiates come together reminded us that APO is not just an organization; it is a family, a community that uplifts, inspires, and shapes lives. Every handshake, every hug, every word spoken was a reaffirmation of the promise we make to serve with heart, to lead with integrity, and to cherish the friendships that define us.

As we celebrated 76 years of service and brotherhood, the day left a mark on all who attended—a reminder that our journey in APO is not measured by years, but by the lives we touch, the hearts we inspire, and the legacy we continue to build. This celebration was a living proof that when we come together, the past, present, and future of Alpha Phi Omega shine as one unstoppable light.

Here’s to the countless memories, the unwavering bonds, and the service that never fades. Happy 76th Anniversary, Alpha Phi Omega Philippines! Our journey continues, stronger and brighter than ever.
