Voice of Empowerment | Message from the Dean of JMCFI College of Engineering Education in celebration of National Womenโs Month.
"This Womenโs Month, I celebrate every woman who leads with courage, serves with heart, and rises to challenges she never imagined she would face.
In solidarity with this yearโs theme, WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society โ Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas! โ we are reminded that women have always led with strength, wisdom, and purpose, shaping communities and opening paths for others.
I did not plan to enter the academe, nor did I expect to lead and inspire at such an early ageโbut I was called. Called to serve, to build futures, and to make a difference in the lives of students and fellow educators. I learned that leadership is not measured by age or years of experience, but by the passion to serve, the courage to step forward, and the heart to uplift others.
I am deeply grateful to my Alma Mater for shaping my foundations, nurturing my values, and trusting me with the opportunity to lead and serve in the very institution that formed me.
To every young woman finding her path: do not be afraid if you feel young or inexperienced. Sometimes, purpose finds you before you feel ready. When it does, lead with passion, grow with humility, and never underestimate the impact you can make.
Happy Womenโs Month."
