Today, we joyfully celebrate the ๐—™๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฆ๐—ฒรฑ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ก๐—ถรฑ๐—ผ, the Child Jesus who draws hearts to Himself as the ๐—•๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ถ ๐˜€๐—ฎ ๐—š๐˜‚๐—ด๐—บ๐—ฎโ€”the magnet of divine love. In His childlike humility, Christ reminds us that Godโ€™s love calls and welcomes all, especially the lost and the weak.

The Gospel (John 1:29โ€“34) reveals Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, bearing witness to Godโ€™s saving plan. The Catechism teaches that through Christ, we receive the grace of becoming ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฑ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ฑ (CCC 526).

Today we joyfully celebrate the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh who came to dwell among us. The Gospel (John 1:1โ€“18) proclaims the great mystery of Christmas: โ€œThe Word became flesh and lived among us,โ€ revealing Godโ€™s light, love, and salvation to the world.
