Unlike the heroes we remember in history booksโthose who fought with ink, blood, and sweat for the countryโs freedomโthere are also heroes whose battles are fought quietly, every single day, simply to survive.
They are not Jose Rizal, whose words exposed the cruelty of colonial rule. They are not Andres Bonifacio, who helped ignite a revolution and fought for independence with courage and conviction. They are not even General Antonio Luna, who led Filipino soldiers during the Philippine-American War.
They fight through long days at work, empty stomachs, sleepless nights, and the uncertainty of tomorrow. They fight not for glory, medals, or a place in history, but for their families, their dreams, and the simple hope of making it through another day.
They are the heroes we never see or read about in books: The ๐ฃ๐๐๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ who spend long hours on the road, the ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐๐ญ ๐ฏ๐๐ง๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ that smile warmly while selling their goods, our ๐๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ฌ who wake before sunrise to tend their crops to feed his family to ours.

They are the heroes we pass by every day. We ride with them, buy from them, learn from them, and depend on them, yet we rarely stop and ask how much they have sacrificed just to keep going.
They may never have a monument with their names, their stories may never find their way into textbooks, and we may never hear their names from someone's story, because

This ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฒ, we celebrate the sacrifices of our Heroes. Those who stood for our freedom and those who make daily sacrifices to care for their loved ones.
