Praised be Jesus and Mary!

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 to the new generation of professional teachers from the University of the Immaculate Conception – College of Teacher Education (UIC-CTE) for successfully passing the 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 (LEPT) conducted last March 15, 2026 in more than 40 testing centers nationwide.

UIC-CTE once again upholds its tradition of academic excellence by surpassing the national passing rate of 73.10%, achieving an impressive 91.67% passing rate for BSED first-time takers and an outstanding overall passing rate of 81.25%. This remarkable achievement reflects the hard work, perseverance, competence, and commitment of our graduates, mentors, and the entire UIC community.

To our newly licensed teachers, your success is a testament to your dedication and calling to serve through education. May you continue to ignite young minds, inspire lifelong learning, and become compassionate, competent, and transformative educators for future generations.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭!

𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 — Education students coming from different HEIs across Region XI gathered at the Holy Cross College of Davao Gymnasium for this year's Teacher Education Student Summit to explore the theme: "𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝟮𝟭𝙨𝙩 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙮: 𝙎𝙤𝙛𝙩 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨."

First speaker 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝗰 𝗘𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗮, 𝗣𝗵𝗗, called on future educators to be 𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴 of the 21st century classroom. By mastering the four pillars—𝘊𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘈𝘨𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘚𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘈𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘈𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱—the session emphasized that the ultimate goal of a teacher is to empower students on how to think, not just what to think.

Digos City Schools Division Superintendent 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼, 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗢 𝗩𝗜, followed with a comprehensive session on 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, providing a strategic roadmap for the future educators. It was a vital discussion that left the students well-informed and inspired to navigate their noble calling with purpose and vision.

The afternoon transitioned into a vibrant showcase of talent and school spirit through the much-anticipated competitions. The breathtaking energy of the Bench Yelling set the stage, followed by the creative performances in the Movie Trailer Mimic, where our very own 𝗨𝗜𝗖 - 𝗖𝗧𝗘 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 showcased their versatility and proudly bagged 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽.✨

The excitement peaked during the On-the-Spot TikTok Challenge, filling the gymnasium with laughter and peak comedic energy. These performances proved that our future educators are as adaptable and talented as they are dedicated, showcasing the vibrant personality that brings life to the modern classroom.

Indeed, the future educators have proven that their calling goes beyond the four walls of the classroom. They are leaders, architects of the future, and versatile performers ready to take on the diverse roles of the 21st century!📚💻
