FPTA 1st One-Day Volleyball League Highlights

Last May 16, 2026, the GBBC community participated in the FPTA 1st One-Day Volleyball League, showcasing teamwork, sportsmanship, and strong partnership among parents and the school community.

Guided by the theme,
“Unity and strength on the court, partnership and purpose off the court,”
the event became more than just a competition. It was a celebration of camaraderie, support, and shared purpose.

Congratulations to our team for finishing as 2nd Runner-Up!

In line with the announcement from the City Government of Davao regarding the suspension of face-to-face classes due to the effects of heavy rainfall and flooding incidents, please be informed that there will be NO CLASSES in all levels at General Baptist Bible College today, May 19, 2026.

However, school offices and the enrollment area will remain open to continue serving students, parents, and clients.

Joint Summer Sports Culmination Highlights

As part of our Summer Sports Program, the Badminton and Volleyball participants recently held their joint culmination activity, bringing together weeks of training, learning, and sportsmanship in one meaningful event.

While some of our other sports clinics already conducted their culmination activities last week, both Badminton and Volleyball were scheduled together to conclude the program as one.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated coaches:

Coach Jett Essencia – Volleyball

Thank you for your time, effort, and commitment in helping our athletes grow not only in skill, but also in discipline, teamwork, and character.

DCHS Basketball Cup Season 1

Our GBBC U17 team battled hard in the Championship Game held at Davao Christian High School Gym last May 2, 2026.

Though we fell short in the finals against Philippine Academy of Sakya Davao Incorporated (PASDI), we are proud to finish as 1st Runner-Up, competing against some of the biggest schools and strongest teams in the city.

This journey is a testament to the team’s hard work, discipline, and determination on the court.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our coaches, Coach Jan Evan Rubia, Coach Joshua Aguilon, Coach Erwin Barbadillo, and Coach Mark Philip Lomarda, for their guidance and leadership.

Heads up, GBBC! The best is yet to come.
