Primum Primum is the Official Student Publication of the University of Mindanao. Primum is a Latin word which means "first" or "above all".

As a student publication, we are committed to be on the front line in delivering factual and unbiased information to the studentry. The publication has pivoted online rendering consistent online content specialized in various journalism field, alongside with striking art and design. We serve as your safe space and we stand in solidarity as we amplify the voices of every UMian.

The University of Mindanao Chorale proudly joined the esteemed Manila Symphony Orchestra in the performance of “Padayon,” composed by Grace Nono and arranged by Boy Delarmente, under the baton of Jeffrey Solares, during Symphonic Explorations 2026 on August 12, 2026, at Abreeza Mall, Davao City, as part of the Kadayawan Festival.

August 21 – Ninoy Aquino Day (Special Non-Working Holiday)
