MMFC STAFF MONTHLY SPIRITUAL EMPOWERMENT

MMFC continues to provide learning experiences that develop not only knowledge and skills, but also character, purpose, and responsible stewardship of the life entrusted to each individual.

Today’s Monthly Spiritual Empowerment featured Ps. Dan Ramsis Collano, who delivered a sobering message entitled “Redeem Your Time” to the MMFC Administrative Staff.

The session called participants to examine how they use their time, what they pursue, and whether their lives and work are aligned with God’s will. As emphasized in the message, success means little if we succeed in the wrong assignment.

Drawing from the life of Solomon and the Parable of the Sower, the session reminded participants that hearing the Word is not enough—we are called to understand, obey, endure, and remain rooted in Christ.

As an institution committed to holistic formation, MMFC recognizes the importance of strengthening not only professional excellence, but also the spiritual foundation and sense of purpose of its people.

May every member of the MMFC community continue to make the most of every opportunity, faithfully fulfill their God-given assignment, and live with purpose.

On September 12, 2026, the PhilHealth YAKAP Caravan was conducted at Malagamot, Barangay Panacan, Davao City, through the initiative of Alterado General Hospital under the leadership of Dr. Emily Alterado, with the support of Mindanao Medical Foundation College (MMFC) through its Community Extension Services Office and Dentistry Department. Held from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., the activity brought essential health-related services and information closer to local residents, reflecting a shared commitment to accessible, responsive, and community-centered healthcare.

Anchored on PhilHealth’s vision, “Bawat Filipino, Miyembro, Bawat Miyembro, Protektado, Kalusugan ng Lahat, Segurado,” the caravan emphasized that healthcare protection should be accessible to every Filipino and that collective efforts are vital in promoting preventive care, early consultation, and improved health outcomes. In this spirit, the activity served not merely as a delivery of health services, but as a meaningful expression of partnership and compassion, affirming that “when healthcare reaches the community, protection becomes more than a promise—it becomes a shared responsibility and a pathway toward a healthier and more secure future.”
