Years have passed ever since the Vinta Yearbook firstly released a story pertaining to the life of our valiant brethren who have started a new journey towards their chosen paths. The Vinta Yearbook is a symbol of a student’s journey towards greatness, the official yearbook staff has always been the shadows that documented the life of each and every graduate that has stepped inside the University w

alls. A group of individuals, that through cooperation and passion, has a single goal of documenting the fulfilling moments of each graduate. Every year, these individuals, compose a tribute for the eagles that are now ready to take flight and soar the world. Commemorating the valor of each student, the collection of various portraits radiates the style and pride of each and every student. The Vinta is a traditional boat in the Mindanao that was used by travelers to go to distant places. As the official Yearbook of the University of Mindanao, it is the duty of the Vinta staff to cater the yearly subscription of the yearbook in order to give the seniors the commemoration that they deserve. The theme varies from time to time in order to celebrate the diversity, the University has to offer. The Vinta staff shall ferry these memories into something that each student can bring in their journey, enshrining their achievements and glory until time immemorial.

Attention graduates! As you complete your final requirements for graduation, please be advised that all payments regarding your outstanding balances must be conducted exclusively through the 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲. The Vinta Office 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 handle or accept any cash transactions directly, so settling your accounts at the official cashier is necessary to ensure your payment is properly recorded.

For those who missed the deadline due to various circumstances: we understand the challenges life presents. To ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of this process, please keep in mind that a charge of 100 pesos will be applied for each unsubmitted or lost form. Once these penalties are applied to your accounts, they are irrevocable. Consequently, the names of your advertisers and the solicitation form will be rendered invalid.

August 10, 2026, marks the final submission date for solicitation forms. Please be advised that no extensions will be granted. Any late submissions will be considered 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙩 and will incur a ₱𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺. Ensure timely compliance to avoid penalties.

Here’s a gentle reminder to all graduates that the deadline for returning the solicitation forms shall be on the 10th of August 2026.

Feel free to return the forms on or before the said date to avoid last-minute rush, long queues, and congestion in the office on the actual deadline.

📌 IMPORTANT SOLICITATION REMINDERS
(1) All ten forms provided must be returned to the Vinta Office. Each missing form shall be subject to a penalty.
(2) Keep the names of your sponsors and the control numbers of their respective forms, as you will need them to encode their details in the system after returning the forms to the office.
(3) We encourage all graduates to thoroughly watch the orientation video regarding the solicitation process to avoid penalties.

If you still have not claimed your solicitation forms, feel free to drop by the Vinta Office during weekdays, as you can still claim them even until August 10!

The Vinta Office shall be halting its operations on July 23, 2026, in accordance with the university’s 80th Founding Anniversary. In-office transactions, such as the release and return of solicitation forms, together with face-to-face office inquiries, shall be suspended on the said date.

During this period, we kindly request that you channel your inquiries through our official page. While our commitment to addressing your yearbook-related concerns remains steadfast, please note that online support may be intermittently available.

Do note that the yearbook pictorial proceedings and services in Bolton Campus will remain operational.

Normal office operations will resume on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Availability is flexibly limited and managed on a 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀. Given the proximity of the graduation timeline, students are strongly encouraged to finalize their appointments immediately.

📌 NOTE: No slots will be available on the 21st of August 2026, in accordance with Ninoy Aquino Day, a national non-working holiday.

There shall be no opening of pictorial slots from 27th of July to 8th of August of 2026, as the photography studio is tasked to prioritize the rest of the University of Mindanao branches on those dates.

With that being said, the Vinta Yearbook pictorials shall resume on the 10th of August 2026 onwards.

The Vinta Yearbook, under the supervision of the University of Mindanao, ensures that all graduates will be accommodated for the yearbook pictorials!
