Vision:
A premier communication program in the country forging the next generation of highly trained and creative professionals who are global in outlook, vastly competent in the field of media and communication and while being critical, will use communication as a tool for development and nation-building. ield of work;
2. Enable students related to conduct studies related to communication and mass media;
3. Surpass classroom learning by providing them with unique experiences that will enable them to put theoretical knowledge into practice; and
4. Contribute initiatives for social change, and view communication and mass media as tools for development. Objective:
a. To mold the Mass Communication students to be effective persuaders in the media age, specifically in the enhancement of skills in the area in print/ online journalism, broadcast journalism, communication research/ planning TV/Videography and theatre production. To provide students with the following:
i. A common foundation of knowledge and understanding concerning social communication through core programs consisting of general education and professionals communication education;
ii. Training to make them immediately employable and/or engage in entrepreneurship or self-reliant activities; and
iii. Proper motivation for professional growth. c. To develop a high degree of social consciousness in students. d. To inculcate in them moral and ethical values. e. To enhance the capability of the JMC Media Center in preparation for making the program the ''Center of Development.''
