Earlier today, Teacher Education students of St. Peter’s College of Toril conducted a Community Extension read-aloud activity at Mt. Apo Elementary School in Sibulan, Davao City, engaging young learners through storytelling, interaction, and meaningful learning experiences.

Ms. Estrella Soriano and Dr. Katherine S. Rosales guided the activity, with the support of Ma’am Marilyn Atan, School Head of Mt. Apo Elementary School. Through storytelling and interaction, the Teacher Education students shared their time and passion for learning while creating a fun and encouraging environment for the pupils.

The activity highlighted the value of reading, learning, and community engagement as future educators extended their knowledge and service beyond the classroom.

Earlier today, the College Department of St. Peter's College of Toril, Inc. gathered for a mid-week break, starting with an interfaith gathering and a rosary session that fostered spiritual connection, reflection, and unity. Afterward, the community kept the energy high with a Wednesday Wellness Zumba session, encouraging students to stay active, have fun, and embrace a lifestyle through movement.

The Basic Education Department will conduct the Test Paper Viewing on August 29, 2026 (Saturday), from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. This will allow parents/guardians to review their child’s checked test papers and learn about their academic performance and overall progress. For data privacy and confidentiality, taking photographs, screenshots, or videos of the test papers is strictly prohibited.

𝐒𝐏𝐂𝐓 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Earlier today, St. Peter’s College of Toril held the College Research Colloquium 2026 at the SPCT gymnasium, bringing together BSBA and Education student researchers, faculty, staff, and students under the theme, “Fostering Multidisciplinary Innovations in Technology, Business, and Education.”

The event featured Dr. Rizalito H. Paga, College Dean of Holy Cross College of Calinan, Inc., as the Keynote Speaker and Expert Reactor. He shared valuable insights with the student researchers and provided meaningful perspectives on their research presentations.

The BSBA and Education students presented their research under the guidance of their respective Program Heads, Dr. Melinda G. Pido, BSBA Program Head, and Dr. Katherine S. Rosales, Teacher Education Program Head. The activity was facilitated by the Research and Publication Officer, Mr. Alfie P. Billion. The presentations highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration and innovation in advancing research in technology, business, and education.
