Last January 7, 2025, we officially closed the chapter on our ๐ต๐ญ๐๐ ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ธ, and what a meaningful journey it was. Guided by this yearโs theme, โ๐๐ช๐ก๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ช๐ ๐๐จ ๐ฃ๐ ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฃ๐ค ๐ฃ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐-๐๐จ๐,โ we were reminded that reading is more than a habitโit is a bridge that connects us to hope, growth, and a brighter tomorrow.
One of the highlights of the program was the insightful talk of our guest speaker, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ข๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐. ๐
๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐จ, ๐๐, who gave us a much-needed system update through his discussion, โ๐พ๐๐๐+ ๐๐๐จ๐ฅ๐๐๐ฉ: ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ง๐ก๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ค๐ฃ๐จ๐๐๐ก๐ฎ.โ With his words, our sense of digital responsibility and citizenship was truly leveled up.
This celebration wouldnโt have been possible without the amazing people behind it. Huge thanks to our students for bringing so much energy, creativity, and love for reading; to the UIC-LRSC staff for always being there and making everything run smoothly; and to the Bibliophile Club for the hard work, dedication, and heart you put into every detail. You are truly the heart of this celebration, and we couldnโt have done this without you.
Though this chapter has ended, the story continues. Keep dreaming, keep imagining, and most of allโkeep reading.๐โจ
