𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗠𝗬𝗔𝗣𝗖𝗜 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 2026

The Research and Development Office has successfully conducted the 𝗔𝗠𝗬𝗔𝗣𝗖𝗜 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 2026, held last April 24, with the theme “𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚, 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚, 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚: 𝙍𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝,” bringing together students, faculty members, and academic leaders in a dynamic celebration of research, innovation, and scholarly excellence.

The program officially opened with an inspiring message from the Research Director, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗽𝗵𝗿𝘆𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗝. 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗥𝗥𝘁, 𝗠𝗦𝗥𝗧, 𝗥𝗣𝗢, 𝗣𝗵𝗗, highlighting the vital role of research in fostering academic growth and community development. Participants were immersed in a day filled with meaningful discourse, starting with the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, where groups showcased their studies and engaged in insightful discussions through a triangular evaluation system led by the esteemed panel of reactors.

The panel of reactors—𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗦. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻, 𝗥𝗣𝗺, 𝗠𝗣𝘀𝘆, 𝗠𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗣. 𝗭𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗮, 𝗥𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿. 𝗚𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗟. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘇—were crucial in the success of the conference, providing insightful critiques, constructive feedback, and expert perspectives that significantly enriched the quality of student research. Ms. Mandin, a mental health professional and Clinical Psychology specialist, contributed evidence-based insights grounded in her work in psychological research and community engagement. Mr. Zafra, a Registered Microbiologist, offered analytical perspectives shaped by his experience in laboratory research and environmental studies. Dr. Villonez, an accomplished education leader and researcher, provided high-level critique informed by his extensive involvement in research, quality assurance, and international academic engagements. Together, they shared insightful feedback and expert perspectives that significantly enriched the quality of student research.

In the afternoon, the conference spotlight shifted into the 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 segment, where the panel of reactors was taken on an engaging journey through the scholarly works of our esteemed faculty members. 𝗠𝗿. 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹 𝗣. 𝗟𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗠𝗔𝗘𝗱, the Research Ethics Committee (REC) Chair, shared his study entitled “𝙀𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘽𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨: 𝘼 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙪𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 2 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣,” followed by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗥𝗥𝘁, 𝗠𝗦𝗥𝗧, 𝗥𝗣𝗢, 𝗣𝗵𝗗, who presented “𝘼 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝘼𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙓𝙄, 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨.”

Despite being away on professional engagements, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗳𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼 𝗦. 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗿, 𝗥𝗣𝗵, 𝗠𝗦𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺, 𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗵, BS Pharmacy Instructor and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝗥𝗣𝗵, 𝗕𝗦𝗖𝗣𝗵, 𝗠𝗦𝗰, BS Pharmacy Program Chair, ensured that their presence was felt through recorded presentations of their studies. These were titled “𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙮𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙃𝙮𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩” and “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚, 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙨, 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 , 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙥’𝙨 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙬 𝙞𝙣 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢: 𝘼 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙈𝙞𝙭𝙚𝙙 𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙙 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙮,” respectively.

The session further highlighted collaborative work through the presentation of Vice President for Academic Affairs, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝗻 𝗤. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇 and General Education Program Chair, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗷𝘂𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗻 on “𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙨, 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙡𝙤𝙖𝙙 𝙖𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙮𝙚𝙚 𝙅𝙤𝙗 𝙎𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙛 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙈𝙔𝘼 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙮𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙘 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚, 𝙄𝙣𝙘.” The panel of reactors have also shared valuable insights and constructive suggestions regarding the presented studies. Furthermore, the presentations reflected the faculty’s dedication to research and the continuous pursuit of academic excellence.

The conference culminated in the much-anticipated awarding ceremony, recognizing outstanding research efforts and exemplary presentations. Among the highlights were the recipients of the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 award, conferred upon 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝘄𝘆𝘇 𝗣. 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗵𝗶𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗠. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 for their study, “𝘼 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙮 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙘 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙂𝙚𝙘𝙠𝙤 𝙁𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙐𝙧𝙗𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤.”

The award for the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 was presented to 𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗮, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗘𝘇𝗮 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘆 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗚𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘆𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼 for their study titled, “𝙄𝙣 𝙑𝙞𝙩𝙧𝙤 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙖 (𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙝𝙤𝙩 𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖) 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝘼𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙮𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙘𝙘𝙪𝙨 𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙪𝙢 𝙖𝙘𝙣𝙚𝙨.”

Finally, the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 was earned by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗕𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗮 𝗬𝗮𝗽, who presented their study titled “𝙄𝙣 𝙑𝙞𝙩𝙧𝙤 𝙀𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙒𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖 (𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙥-𝙆𝙪𝙝𝙤𝙡) 𝙃𝙮𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙒𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝘼𝘾𝘼𝙏 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙨.”

As the event concluded, the School President 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖. 𝗣𝗶𝗮, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗠𝗔𝗡, delivered her closing remarks and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, faculty, participants, and guests whose support made the conference a success. Indeed, the AMYAPCI Institutional Research Conference 2026 served as a powerful platform fostering collaboration and advancing commitment to excellence in research and innovation.
