The Knowledge and Technology Transfer Division (KTTD) of
the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) proudly
participated through a booth exhibit at the 18th NICP National
ICT Summit 2026, held at the Atrium Hall, City Hall, Tagum
City, Davao del Norte, on August 12–13, 2026.

The KTTD booth showcased USeP’s innovation ecosystem and
the support available to innovators, startups, entrepreneurs,
MSMEs, and technology developers—from idea development
and incubation to prototyping, fabrication, and product
development.

🌱 AGILab Technology Business Incubator (TBI) provides
incubation, mentoring, and innovation support, helping startups and technology-driven ventures develop, validate, and
scale their ideas toward market readiness.

🛠️ DigiHub FabLab Davao provides digital fabrication,
prototyping, and product development services, enabling
innovators and MSMEs to transform concepts and digital designs
into tangible prototypes and products.

⚙️ Metals Engineering and Innovation Center (MEIC)
supports metals engineering, fabrication, prototyping, and
product development, helping transform innovative concepts
into functional and manufacturable solutions.

Through these platforms, KTTD continues to strengthen USeP’s
role in connecting knowledge, technology, entrepreneurship,
and industry—creating pathways for innovations to move from
idea to prototype, prototype to enterprise, and enterprise to
impact.

🌏 These initiatives contribute to the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
SDG 4 – Quality Education through innovation and
entrepreneurship capacity-building
SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth through startup
development and MSME support
SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through
technology transfer, prototyping, fabrication, and innovation
infrastructure
SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals through collaboration
among academe, government, industry, and innovation
stakeholders

🤝 The Summit provided a valuable venue for engaging with ICT
stakeholders, government agencies, academe, industry,
innovators, and potential partners in advancing digital
transformation and technology-driven innovation in
Mindanao.

Lahat sila ay gumagamit ng salitang "Mang" bilang bahagi ng kanilang registered trademarks.

Ang "Mang" ay isang pangkaraniwang honorific sa wikang Filipino. Sa pag-gamit ng "Mang" nabibigyan ng personalidad ang isang produkto o negosyo na siyang nagpapahiwatig ng pamilyaridad o pagiging magkakilala.

Kapag isinama ito sa iba pang natatanging salita o elemento at ginamit upang alamin ang pinagmulan ng mga produkto o serbisyo, maaari itong maging parte ng isang trademark. Ngunit, hindi agad nangangahulugan na ekslusibong pagmamay-ari ng isang trademark owner ang salita. Ang proteksiyon ng trademark ay nakadepende sa kabuuang marka, kabilang ang iba pang salita, disenyo, at kung paano ito ginagamit.

Ngayong Buwan ng Wika, ipinagdiriwang natin kung paano ang mga salitang pamilyar sa ating kultura at wika ay nagiging bahagi ng mga Pilipinong tatak na kinikilala at pinagkakatiwalaan ng marami sa atin.

The Knowledge and Technology Transfer Division (KTTD) successfully conducted a Quality Audit at RAMPEC Enterprises, the manufacturing facility of Caresystem Technology Solutions Co., Inc., for the production of the University-developed innovation, the Mechanical Coconut Climber.

The audit forms part of USeP's commitment to ensuring that licensed technologies are manufactured in accordance with established quality standards while safeguarding the integrity, functionality, and commercialization potential of the University's intellectual property.

The activity was led by KTTD Director Francis Louise Yap, together with Engr. Ryan Abenoja and Engr. Ruel Tuyogon, inventor of the technology, provided technical support during the assessment.

Through continuous quality assurance and strong collaboration with industry partners, USeP remains committed to translating research into impactful technologies that empower communities and strengthen the nation's innovation ecosystem.
