With this guiding principle, the UM-LIC successfully conducted its Annual Echo Seminar, reaffirming its commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and innovation in library and information services.
The online seminar served as a valuable platform for our librarians to share the knowledge, best practices, and emerging trends they gained from local and international conferences, seminars, and training sessions attended over the past year.

πΎ Challenges, Trends, and Best Practices in Digital Preservation | Presented by Ms. Arsel Rose Tumulac..along with several other timely and relevant presentations that highlighted the evolving roles of librarians in today's rapidly changing information landscape.
A special highlight of the virtual learning session was the sharing session of Ms. Brigida Bacani, Director of the LIC, who reflected on her enriching experience during the ERASMUS+ Staff Training in Latvia. Her insights on international collaboration, innovation, and global best practices inspired the Librarians and staff to embrace lifelong learning and excellence in librarianship continuously.
As libraries continue to evolve, so do librarians. We adapt to new technologies, embrace innovation, and remain steadfast in our mission to empower learners and communities.
