LUNTIAN: The Living Library of the Future

𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
LUNTIAN, The Living Library of the Future. Where Nature, Filipino Heritage, and AI Grow Together, is a sustainable, nature-inspired, three-storey library that blends artificial intelligence, immersive technology, and Filipino cultural heritage into an inclusive learning environment, with a welcoming central librarian hub keeping human guidance at its heart. It pairs physical books with digital collections and offers personal AI assistants, augmented reality and holographic exhibits that bring Philippine history, indigenous traditions, and heritage to life, and accessibility features such as elevators, ramps, tactile pathways, and assistive technologies for PWDs and SNED learners. Its eco-friendly design uses natural lighting, solar energy, rainwater collection, and indoor gardens to create a calm space for reading and well-being. Across its floors, the ground floor (Discover and Connect) houses circulation, children, and reference services, and cultural exhibits; the second floor (Learn and Collaborate) offers the digital library, learning commons, laboratories, a makerspace, and a café; and the third floor (Create and Experience) holds an auditorium, cinema, museum gallery, advanced research spaces, and holographic heritage experiences. By combining librarians’ expertise with modern technology, LUNTIAN turns the library from a book repository into an interactive, sustainable learning destination where innovation enhances rather than replaces human connection, so that knowledge grows, culture lives, technology serves humanity, and every learner belongs.

The 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐂𝐂𝐈𝐒) of 𝐂𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. participated in the 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐖𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐈𝐓 𝐎𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐝 on October 16, 2026, at Ateneo De Davao University in Davao City.

The event brought together students from across the region to showcase their knowledge, skills, and creativity through various events.

CCIS proudly represented Cor Jesu College at the regional competition, earning 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫-𝐔𝐩 in Infographics and Motion Graphics, 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫-𝐔𝐩 in Programming, and a spot among the 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝟓 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬.
