𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧?
IN A RICH MAN’S WORLD: Analyzing PAGCOR Gross Revenue from 2019-2025

In the country, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) is responsible for regulating gambling activities. Every gambling site must be verified and licensed by PAGCOR. This is done to minimize the risk of users facing legal, fraud, and financial losses as much as possible.

The percentage of gamblers in the country is rapidly increasing. Data from PAGCOR last year shows that there was a 200% increase in the number of gamblers in the country. “What’s even more alarming is that some games and operators are still slipping through. Our regulations aren’t effective—they’re not afraid of them,” said Senator Gatchalian.

In today’s WhatSTAT?, in line with the Problem Gambling Awareness Month, we analyzed PAGCOR’s quarterly gross revenue from 2019 to 2025. From this analysis, we can visualize trends from different sectors of the gambling industry, relating past and current events of the industry to these data.

Shown in this post are some useful information, relevant statistics, and visualizations regarding PAGCOR’s earnings from everyday gambling.
