The 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗯 (𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗟) is proud to host the 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗦𝗙𝗜𝗜𝗣), one of the Department of Food Science and Nutrition’s BOR-approved Collective Mentorship Programs (CMP).

The 𝗦𝗙𝗜𝗜𝗣 brings together mentors and graduate innovators to explore sustainable food ingredient solutions through the upcycling of food-processing waste into functional ingredients such as protein concentrates, dietary fibers, and natural colorants. 🌾♻️

Through green technology, research, and industry-aligned approaches, the program aims to nurture innovation while contributing to 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 (𝗦𝗗𝗚𝘀) 𝟯 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟮.

CHE Library at the first UP Diliman QAhusayan Fair!

The UP College of Home Economics Library joined the roster of poster presentations at the first UP Diliman QAhusayan Fair, held on September 7–11, 2026 at the Palma Hall Lobby, College of Social Sciences and Philosophy.

CHE librarians presented two initiatives showcasing the Library’s commitment to quality service, research support, and community engagement:

​The College of Home Economics extends its heartiest congratulations to Dana Dizon, 4th-year BS Clothing Technology student, and her team for winning the Bronze Award at the Start Up QC Student Edition Business Plan Competition!
​Out of over 150 student entries across the city, Dana's startup concept Ceatti (Siti) stood out as a finalist in June and brought home the Bronze Award along with a ₱15,000 cash prize this September 2026.
