With the Habagat continuing and in view of the directive that allows for alternative work and school arrangements for August 18 (Office of the President, MC No. 128), UNC Bataan shall implement a catch up and recovery day:

1. No additional teaching and learning activities will be assigned to allow faculty and staff to recalibrate their lessons and to give students additional time to work on their modules and activities assigned asynchronously from the last two weeks.

2. For our Basic Education Faculty members please take this time to check in on our students — how they're doing matters more than what they'll be turning in. Specifically, we are requesting our Homeroom advisers to please reach out to your advisory students to check on their well-being and circumstances and report any support required that we may be able to extend.

3. For our Higher Education (College) Faculty and Students,we will likewise allow the day to be used as recovery day to give students room to breathe, make up any missing submissions or readings, and to get back on track.

Ito po ay batay sa pinakahuling ulat ng PAGASA at rekomendasyon ng Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) upang mapangalagaan ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at ng publiko.

Ayon sa pinakahuling forecast ng PAGASA, makakaranas ang ating Lalawigan ng pag-ulan at posibleng malakas na pag-ulan dulot ng Habagat, na posibleng magdulot ng pagbaha sa mga mabababang lugar.

In light of the continuing heavy rainfall brought by the enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat), and in accordance with the declaration of the Provincial Government of Bataan through the PDRRMO:

August 2026) for the safety and wellbeing of the students, faculty, and staff over the incessant rains and flooding these past 4 days.

On August 1, 2026, parents and members of our school community came together for a meaningful Parenting Seminar with the theme, “Strengthening the Home–School Connection to Support Learning and Character Development.”

The seminar was led by our esteemed speaker, RICHARD N. BRIONES, MAGC, RGC, who shared valuable insights and practical perspectives on the important role of parents in supporting their children’s learning, growth, and character development.

Through meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and valuable insights, our parents were encouraged to become even more active partners in their children’s learning and character development. Together, we reflected on how guidance, support, understanding, and strong family values can help shape learners into confident, responsible, and compassionate individuals.

In accordance with the announcement of the Local Government of Dinalupihan, classes for Kindergarten to Grade 12 (K–12) are suspended today, August 5, 2026 (Wednesday).

Please note: This advisory applies only to Basic Education (Kindergarten to Grade 12).
College classes will continue as scheduled, please get in touch with your Instructors should alternative delivery modes will be assigned at their discretion.
