🔥 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗖𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 may have concluded last 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟰–𝟮𝟱, but the energy it ignited continues to burn brightly in our hearts.

This landmark event marked the 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, bringing together global experts, passionate scientists, and community leaders united by a shared mission: to 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

We’re proud to celebrate the achievements of our alumni,𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 and 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻, who presented their undergraduate thesis work on microplastics at the conference.

- Mr. Besario shared his research on the 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘁𝗲.
- Ms. Bantayanon presented her study on the 𝗼𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀 (𝙀𝙣𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨), shedding light on the ecological implications of plastic contamination in marine flora.

Their journey began during their undergraduate years, when they were selected for an all-expense-paid training with the 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 during its Visayas leg—an experience that deepened their commitment to environmental research.

🌱 Let this moment fuel our collective advocacy. May it inspire the next generation of thinkers, researchers, and changemakers to rise and protect our planet.
