The Silliman University Biology Society proudly celebrates the success of AKWE’26, our acquaintance party themed “Echoes of the Wild: Living to Conserve, Uniting to Protect.” This event was more than a gathering, it was a meaningful opportunity to welcome new members, strengthen bonds, and reaffirm our shared commitment to conservation.

This success would not have been possible without the steadfast support of our sponsors and partners, whose generosity and commitment gave strength to our vision.

We extend our deepest gratitude to:

Himsog nga Kabataan, Himsog nga Kaugmaon 💚🍽️

Last July 15, we shared not just meals but hope, care, and knowledge with the children of Casa Miani Arvedi, Talay, Dumaguete City. Through the feeding program and nutrition awareness drive, we nurtured healthier minds and stronger bodies, because every child deserves a bright and nourished future.

Together with DOST SA SU, SUMMA, SU ChemSoc, and SUGPA, we stood united in promoting good health, proper nutrition, and community spirit.

The Silliman University Biology Society joins in mourning the passing of Dr. Kent E. Carpenter.

A valued collaborator and friend to our department, his contributions meant so much to our academic community.

We are deeply grateful for his generosity, including his support for our newly built Molecular Biology Laboratory, which will continue to benefit future scientists.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and loved ones during this difficult time.

May he rest in eternal peace.
