Foundation University is one with the Commission on Higher Education in celebrating ASEAN month.

It’s time to celebrate the vibrant cultures, rich histories, and incredible innovations of Southeast Asia!
In line with this special celebration, Foundation University invites all interested students to participate in our two major competitions:
1. Digital Poster Making Contest – Express your visual vision through digital art and graphic design.

2. Essay Writing Contest – Share your sharp perspectives on regional unity, culture, and progress.

The submission deadline is August 15, 2025 at 12 noon. The announcement of winners will be on August 19, 2026.

Foundation University proudly takes home second place for Best Abstract on the global stage.

This major academic milestone was achieved at the 3rd International Research Conference on Interdisciplinary Perspectives, which took place on August 7–8, 2026, virtually via Zoom.

The paper “The Lived Experiences of Contractual Government Service Field Workers at the Philippine Statistics Authority” was authored by Zusnica Veron E. Dimagnaong, Glen J. Edrea, Naise Kay Vaniza C. Sanoy, Mick Ian M. Cornelia, and Rhea Flor B. Ricafort. Ricafort was the Presenter for the conference.

The research paper was featured under the Social Science and Psychology cluster of the virtual conference, which focused on driving real-world societal transformation.

This study supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by advocating for workers' rights and improved government practices. By looking closely at the challenges faced by contractual field workers, the research aligns with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) to push for fairer employment practices and better job security in the public sector. Additionally, by studying the frontliners of a vital national agency, the findings support SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by promoting more inclusive, ethical, and accountable government frameworks.
