Congratulations to Foundation University Outstanding Alumnus Jo-Dann N Darong for joining the elite 2026 AsiaGlobal Fellows cohort by the Asia Global Institute of the The University of Hong Kong. Your achievements bring great pride to your alma mater.

The AsiaGlobal Fellows Program ranks among Asia’s most prestigious leadership initiatives. It brings together exceptional global leaders to address critical policy and development challenges. ​This year’s program received over 2,500 applications worldwide, and only 17 were selected as fellows.

Darong completed his Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Economics, at Foundation University in 2007. He graduated with University Pin Honors and earned recognition as the Most Outstanding Graduate of his batch. The University named him Most Promising Alumnus in 2022 and Outstanding Alumnus in 2024.

📢 CALL FOR DONATIONS

The Foundation University Student Government (FUSG) is appealing for monetary donations to support the families and communities affected by the recent earthquake in General Santos City.

You may extend your help by scanning the GCash QR Code provided or by sending your donation through GCash. For assistance and arrangements, you may visit the Student Government Office or send a message to our official page.

Every contribution, regardless of amount, can make a meaningful difference in helping affected individuals recover and rebuild.

📌 Note:
At the moment, we are only accepting monetary donations due to logistical and transportation limitations brought about by the distance. We are currently coordinating with local government units (LGUs), partner non-government organizations (NGOs), and other humanitarian groups. We will make a separate announcement regarding in-kind donations once we have coordinated with organizations that will physically travel to and conduct relief operations in the affected areas. This will help ensure that all donated goods are properly transported, distributed, and received by the communities that need them most.

Foundation University successfully held the Time Capsule Ceremony 2026 on May 21, 2026, a meaningful celebration of memories, milestones, and moments that have defined the journey of our graduating class.

More than memories were sealed during the ceremony. Stories, dreams, and achievements were preserved for the graduating class to look back on and remember 20 years from now.

A piece of today, preserved for tomorrow.
