Foundation University gets recognition as a premier host for national academic events—a testament to our community’s warmth and hospitality.

Prof. Brando Piñero recently accepted a plaque of commendation on behalf of Foundation University at the 48th Annual National Philippine Physics Society (PPS) Convention. This special honor celebrates FU’s exceptional work in hosting last year's convention, which was held on March 28-31, 2025.

The plaque was received during the opening program of the convention, which was held on May 19-22, 2026, at the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) in Candon City, Ilocos Sur, with the theme “PPS@52: A Quantum Leap into the Future: Empowering Communities through Physics Education, Research, and Application.” The event continues to drive innovation through research, workshops, and the Physics Olympics.

We are incredibly proud to see our institution recognized for contributing to the growth of physics education and community empowerment in the Philippines.

The Foundation University Student Government proudly shares the participation of FUSG leaders Andrew Estrebella and Isabel Ann L. Roque during the Grade 10 and Grade 12 Recollection Activities held at Foundation Preparatory Academy for Academic Year 2025–2026.

Andrew Estrebella served as Facilitator, while Isabel Ann L. Roque served as Assistant Facilitator, guiding the students through meaningful activities, reflections, and discussions centered on faith, personal growth, gratitude, and self-discovery.

Their involvement reflects the commitment of FUSG leaders in extending service beyond the university community and contributing to programs that promote holistic formation and student development. Through their dedication and active participation, the recollection became a meaningful and enriching experience for the completers. 🌿

Foundation University Student Government Andrew Estrebella delivered his State of the Student Address (SOSA), reflecting on a year of initiatives, student representation, transparency, and service to the Foundation University community.
