The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) proudly congratulates Dr. Angeline E. Torres, Chairperson of the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) Program, for successfully passing her Dissertation Final Oral Defense for the degree Doctor of Management, major in Human Resource Management.

Her dissertation entitled “Work-Life Balance and Job Satisfaction: Mediation and Moderation Analyses in the Hospitality Sector,” contributes to the understanding of employee well-being and organizational effectiveness in the hospitality industry. The dissertation was completed under the guidance of Dr. Tulip F. Lopez, Dissertation Adviser, and successfully underwent the University’s rigorous dissertation evaluation process.

This milestone underscores the Graduate School’s commitment to academic and research excellence under the leadership of Dr. Chizanne S. Larena, Dean of the NORSU Graduate School, whose vision continues to strengthen graduate education, research productivity, and scholarly excellence across the University. The Doctor of Management Program is likewise guided by Dr. Guilbert Nicanor Atillo, Program Coordinator, in advancing quality graduate instruction and research.

Dr. Torres’ achievement reflects her dedication to scholarship, leadership, and professional growth, while reaffirming CTHM’s commitment to developing faculty members who contribute meaningful research and academic excellence.
