DORMITORY ADVISORY: Increase in Dormitory Fixed Board Rates

Please be advised that, effective starting Midyear 2025 and First Semester of School Year 2025–2026, there will be an increase in the Dormitory Fixed Board Rates. The rate per meal will be adjusted from ₱85.00 to ₱100.00, resulting in a daily total increase from ₱255.00 to ₱300.00.

This adjustment was adopted by the Silliman University Cafeteria, in coordination with the University Administration, the Office of Student Services through the Student Housing and Residence Division, and the SUSG Dorm Life Committee. The increase is due to prevailing economic conditions, particularly the rising costs of ingredients and produce.

This notice is issued for the guidance of all current and incoming dormitory residents.

: The Silliman University (SU) Student Housing and Residence Division (SHRD) announces that temporary online reservations and dormitory visits are now available for the First Semester of SY 2025-2026.

To reserve, email the SHRD at [email protected] with the following information:

a. Complete name of student
b. Student’s course and year
c. Preferred dormitory and room accommodation
d. Parent/Guardian information:
- Names
- Home Address
- Contact number(s)

Dormitory and Room Accommodations

A. Cooperative Dormitories (non-aircon for 6 PAX w/ shared toilet and bath)

-Narra Cottage (male occupants)
-Ipil Cottage (male occupants)
-Azucena Cottage (female occupants)
-Molave Cottage (female occupants)

B. Regular Dormitories (air-con for 4 PAX w/ shared toilet and bath; Doltz and Vernon Halls also offer accommodations with ensuite bathrooms)

-Doltz Hall (male occupants)
-Vernon Hall (male occupants)
-Larena Hall (female occupants)
-Edith Carson Hall (female occupants)
-Channon Hall (female occupants)

The SHRD is open Mondays-Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Requests for dormitory visits will only be accommodated during these times and at unoccupied quarters.
