𝐀 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 🤝🏻

Last March 21, 2026, the Silliman University Senior High School Girl Scouts initiated the “𝐀 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬” at Brgy. Cadawinonan, Dumaguete City together with the Boy Scouts of the same department and in partnership of the Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Cadawinonan.

This community outreach activity aimed to create a heartfelt and supportive space for the senior citizens of Barangay Cadawinonan, focusing on both their immediate needs and their long-term well-being. Where our Lolas and Lolos played a series of mental and physical exercise games, had their free Blood Pressure checking conducted by the Medical Technology Society of Silliman University, represented by Miss Sofian Villamor who is also a Cadet Girl Scout.

Through this simple act of service, we are reminded that being a Scout means more than just wearing a uniform—it means showing up for our community and honoring the wisdom of those who came before us.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our partners, the Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Cadawinonan , headed by Hon. Ian T. Lim and the Silliman University Medical Technology Society, for making this meaningful day possible. Most of all, thank you to the Lolos and Lolas of Brgy. Cadawinonan for the smiles, the laughter, and the stories shared.

Hey there, Senior High! Join us as we get ready to embark on a journey of adventure, leadership, and friendship. Join in with The Teal Vanguards and experience the thrill of the outdoors, and develop skills that prepare you for life's challenges.

Recruitment details:
1. The member should be a bonafide Grade 11 or 12 student of SUSHS to be eligible as a Cadet Girl Scout or Rover Scout.

2. The member should be placed on something other than an OPA or OPB status.

3. Members must participate in troop meetings, activities, and community service projects.

4. Furthermore, the Rover Scouts should attend the Rover Vigil to become an official member of the organization.

5. For those interested to join the Rover Scout, kindly approach Sir Ezra Torno.

6. For those who wish to join the Girl Scout, kindly sign up on the link found on the comment section.

The school year ends with a powerful act of community service. 🎓🎖️🤝

The 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬, Silliman University Senior High School's Scouting Club, concluded their year with a heartwarming and meaningful 𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 last May 8, 2025 at 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐩𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨ol🏫. They officially handed over 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒔 🏗️ as a symbol of their commitment to service. This act of compassion and leadership reflects the true spirit of Scouting: developing responsible citizens who actively contribute to the community and make a lasting difference.

As pioneers of the Teal Vanguards, their final activity leaves a lasting impact. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙙𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩. Ultimately, they’ve made a significant contribution—concluding the year with a strong finish. ✨

Join us at the SHS Courtyard, Stall 4, for a day filled with fun, romance, and unforgettable memories. Whether you're celebrating with your special someone, your best friends, or simply treating yourself, we've got something for everyone!

We’re offering a variety of sweet treats and heartfelt surprises, including cookies, mini chocolates, gummy candies, lollipops with special cards, Dutch’s chocolate boxes, and even a confession box for those brave enough to share their feelings! 🍪🍫💌🍭

We’re open from 9 AM to 6 PM or until stocks last —so come early and don’t miss out on the love, laughter, and excitement! 💌💫

From adventure-filled days to unforgettable nights under the stars, these young campers embodied the true spirit of leadership, teamwork, friendship and resilience. Even under the scorching heat, the girls have stayed strong, with unwavering determination proving their determination for scouting. With unwavering dedication, they showcased their skills, camaraderie, and passion for scouting—leaving a mark of excellence in every challenge they faced. 💚💫

Also, a special congratulations to our Teal Vanguards’ Girl Scouts along with their fellow campers from Subcamp 4, for bringing home the award for “Best Campfire Presentation!” 🎭🏆 Their creativity, talents, passion, enthusiasm, and teamwork truly shined, making the campfire an inspiring and unforgettable experience for everyone, indeed. ✨🔥

ᴛʜᴇ ᴛᴇᴀʟ ᴠᴀɴɢᴜᴀʀᴅꜱ proudly held our first-ever community service activity – a 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐔𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡!🗑️🌴 As scouts, it is our duty to serve and protect the environment, and this event was a step forward in fulfilling that mission.

ᴛʜᴇ ᴛᴇᴀʟ ᴠᴀɴɢᴜᴀʀᴅꜱ kicked off the year with our 𝓐𝓬𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝓟𝓪𝓻𝓽𝔂, last January 25, 2025! 💙✨ As scouts, we value teamwork, friendship, and the spirit of unity—and this celebration was all about building stronger connections and a sense of belonging. 🤝💫
