Incumbent Supreme Student Council (SSC) President Heinrich Galabay and former vice presidential bet Lance Mundo have reignited last yearโ€™s Partido Suloโ€“Liyab ISUans rivalry as they face off anew in the SSC elections for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027.

Galabay, the sitting council president, seeks another term after formally declaring his reelection bid under the banner of Partido Sulo.

Meanwhile, Mundo, who failed to secure the vice presidency last year against incumbent Daniel โ€œMimiโ€ Rabago, now vies for the presidency under Liyab ISUans, aiming to shift the tide after Partido Suloโ€™s sweep in the previous elections.

Notable candidates also include Liyab ISUansโ€™ Mark Joseph Cabbab, College of Education Student Body Organization president, and Partido Suloโ€™s Lei Anne Gabrielle Gallano, the sitting president of Gawad Kalinga ISU-Echague.

In addition, Justin Dominguez, Vice president for academics and awards of the Media and Communication Society, challenges Ciline Francisco, current file secretary of the CED Student Body Organization, for the council secretary post.

For treasurer, Ryan James Balangue squares off against Sandra Alyssa Acerit, both aiming to manage the councilโ€™s financial affairs.

In the accountant race, Francis Mallari goes head-to-head with Mark Francis Galutera, while Victorino Clarito Jr. and Febvoah Joaquin vie for the auditor position.

Meanwhile, in the College of Agriculture (CA), Alexa Janel Casipit faces Josh Nathaniel Apan. Rodolfo Sermonia Jr. and Johnlenon Gelacio Kein represent the College of Business, Accountancy and Public Administration (CBAPA).

Randel Jacinto challenges Danica Irish Peralta in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), while Ched Nikko Pangilinan faces Aldwyn Delmendo in the College of Computing Studies, Information and Communication Technology (CCSICT). In the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), Katherine Allabo competes against Jianna Mae Forelo.

The College of Education (CED) sees Harold Meneses and Argie Padaoang in contention, while Arben Jaymz Manuel and Rhea Gail Usbal vie for the College of Engineering (COE) post. In the College of Nursing (CON), Jay-Ar Aguinaldo faces Zyrus Navarro.

The Institute of Fisheries (IOF) has Marionne Manuel running unopposed, while Bernadette Viernes and David Lim complete the slate for the School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM).
