The College of Agriculture, spearheaded by ๐๐. ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐., together with Campus Extension Director, ๐๐๐๐
๐๐๐๐ ๐. ๐๐๐๐๐, conducted an ocular visit at the ISU Tropical Fruits Genebank and Agro-ecotourism park to discuss strategic plans for its improvement and development.
The proposed initiatives include; Strawberry Farm, Mushroom Production, Vegetable Seedling Production, Hydroponics, Herbarium plant and other community-based agricultural projects aimed at promoting sustainability and innovation.
The visit highlights the University commitment to sustainable development by empowering communities through extension programs where knowledge is transformed into action, partnerships create opportunities, and innovation improves lives while protecting the environment for future generations. Together, these efforts promote resilience, inclusivity, and shared growth toward a more sustainable community.
