‎What a story it was to witness the final chapter of Buwan ng Kasaysayan which was written with pride and purpose, as the KABILIN2026 event unfolded last August 26, 2026, at the El Salvador City Mini Theater.

‎The afternoon began with hearts turning back to history, as Engr. Raul B. Ilogon took the stage to deliver a moving and enlightening talk on "Tagnipa's Contribution During World War II," reminding every Salvadoreño of the courage and sacrifice etched into their hometown's roots.
‎
‎The energy shifted to artistry as the OCA brought the past to life through the musical play "El Salvador," a powerful blend of drama, music, and heritage that left the audience both moved and inspired — a true testament to the talent nurtured within our halls.
‎
‎Capping off the celebration was the much-awaited awarding ceremony, honoring the individuals and groups whose dedication made this month-long historical journey possible.
‎
‎From remembrance to artistry to recognition — KABILIN 2026 stood as a resounding success, proving once more that the youth of today carry the legacy of the past with pride. 🌊✨

In consideration of the prevailing high heat index, the City College of El Salvador – Office of Student Affairs and Services (SAS) announces the temporary suspension of the mandatory wearing of the prescribed school uniform and other regular institutional attire until further notice.

This measure is intended to help reduce heat-related discomfort and potential health risks while ensuring that members of the CCE community continue to observe proper, decent, and appropriate attire within the College premises. Students, faculty, and staff are likewise encouraged to stay hydrated, minimize prolonged exposure to heat, and prioritize their health and well-being.

A significant milestone for the City College of El Salvador (CCE) as the College formally receives its Research and Development (R&D) Agenda during the 2026 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW). The agenda serves as a strategic framework that identifies CCE’s priority research areas and guides the development of initiatives responsive to the needs of El Salvador City, Northern Mindanao, and the wider community.

The formal turnover, led by Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Secretary Dr. Renato U. Solidum Jr., further highlights CCE’s commitment to strengthening research, innovation, and community-responsive development. Anchored on the theme “Northern Mindanao sa ISLA (Innovations for Sustainable and Livable Archipelago),” this milestone opens greater opportunities for research collaboration, capacity building, innovation, and partnerships toward generating evidence-based solutions for sustainable and livable communities.
