We are proud to welcome the newly elected board of directors of the Adamson University Electrical Engineering Alumni Association (AUEEAA) for Administrative Term 2024-2025. On September 21, 2024, the newly elected alumni officers took their Oath of Office at the Oz Conference Ozanam Building, Adamson University. Dr. Merlinda A. Palencia, the College of Engineering Dean, warmly greeted the newly elected board of directors with an inspirational message, as well as presided over the oath-taking of the newly elected alumni. In addition to the meeting, the newly elected AUEEAA President, Engr. Amelia Cumpas, P*E, delivered her acceptance speech, followed by newly elected officers, Professor Wali Del Mundo, Engr. Philip Dasalla, Engr. Noel Lobo and Engr. Rombert Malate. After the acceptance speech of the newly appointed officers, the Chairperson of the Electrical Engineering Department, Engr. Rudy M. Siguenza, gave the certificate of recognition for the last term AUEEAA Officers as they have officially completed their administrative term, along with the recognition of the student-alumni coordinator, Ms. Marjorie G. Ortega. The meeting ended with the preparation for the incoming events and plans for the organization, as this new administrative term will start a fresh beginning with its new set of officers along with various plans and events for the Alumni Organization and also for the Electrical Engineering Student Community.

Exciting day at the AUEEAA Seminar!

We recently conducted a seminar last July 12, 2024 at the OZ306-307, Adamson University, from 10AM to 5PM.

We explored about the Basic Electrical Design in High Rise Buildings and the secrets of becoming a better Manufacturing Engineer across industries. Along with these, we unraveled the intricacies of Electrical Design Analysis and Solar Photovoltaic Design.

We extend our gratitude to our speakers Engr. Dionisio Urbina Jr., Engr. Benjamin Padel, and Engr. Noel Lobo, P*E for their efforts and time in sharing their expertise and knowledge to the AdU EE students and AUEEAA members.

Here's to continuous learning and encounter with the real life activities outside the academic experience!

Look!

AdU EE students and alumni graced our seminar, "Elevating Electrical Engineering," held on April 13, 2024, at the CTIR Building. In addition to enriching discussions, our alumni preparing for the REE Board Exam this April engaged in a stimulating Mock Board Exam.

With heartfelt appreciation, we extend our gratitude to Engr. Pete Ricablanca, whose expertise illuminated the students about Protection of Generators in Power Plants and Calculator Techniques. Also, we would like to thank Engr. Cora Bencio, whose insightful discussion on Off-Grid Power Systems were captivating and inspiring.

Together, we elevate to new heights in the field of Electrical Engineering, empowered by knowledge and camaraderie.

On March 23, 2024, the AUEEAA organized two seminars for graduating EE students and EE alumni at the OZ Building, Adamson University.

Engr. Dailo delivered a comprehensive presentation on Excel Calculation Techniques in CL14 room, while Engr. Cumpas discussed about WESM metering at Physics Hall.

As we conclude these enlightening seminars, we extend our appreciation to Engr. Dailo and Engr. Cumpas for their valuable insights. We hope that the knowledge gained from these sessions will serve as a stepping stone for our participants' future endeavors in the field of Electrical Engineering.

The AdU Electrical Engineering Alumni Association (AUEEAA) and the AdU Mechanical Engineering Alumni Association (AUMEAA) discussed together regarding prospects for Professional Electrical Engineers (P*E) and Professional Mechanical Engineers (PME) at OZ109 last February 17, 2024.

As we conclude this productive meeting, we look forward to seeing how these opportunities will benefit our members and contribute to the advancement of our respective fields.

The AdU Electrical Engineering Alumni Association recently organized a seminar aimed at providing valuable insights to both fresh EE graduates and graduating EE students last January 27, 2024.

The session started at CT501 by Prof. Wali, Associate Dean of the College of Engineering at UP Diliman and a distinguished author known for his works on the Philippine Grid Code and the Philippine Distribution Code. He emphasized the significance of pursuing a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, setting a strong foundation for aspiring professionals.

The next discussion was held at the AdU Alumni Lounge in the OZ Building where the EE alumni shared invaluable tips for those EE fresh graduates preparing on their upcoming board exams.

Furthermore, Engr. Alcantara won as the first-place winner in the AUEEAA logo contest, earning recognition for his design. His winning entry will serve as the official logo of AUEEAA.

With these enriching sessions, participants gained invaluable insights and guidance, paving the way for their future success in the field of Electrical Engineering.
