In celebration of Safe Motherhood Week and Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, this month’s ceremony carries the theme “Reproductive Health Rights, Right to Health, and the College of Public Health.”
The program will feature an inspirational message from Dr. Marita V. Tolentino-Reyes, President and Chair of the Board of the Women’s Health Care Foundation (WHCF), Inc. and former Chancellor of the University of the Philippines Manila. The ceremony will be hosted by the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.

[INSTITUTION OF A NEW MASTER IN APPLIED EPIDEMIOLOGY PROGRAM]

The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, College of Public Health, University of the Philippines Manila, is instituting a new Master in Applied Epidemiology (MAE) program. This proposed professional degree program aims to provide the theoretical foundation for field epidemiologists, in accordance with the Training Programs in Epidemiology and Public Health Interventions Network (TEPHINET) standards.
