This year, the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics proudly marks its 70th anniversary with the theme: “Hulagway: Mga Hinuha, Palagay, Pananaliksik, at Patunay sa Pitumpung Taon.”

For 70 years, DEBs has brought together generations of students, faculty, researchers, and public health professionals in the pursuit of knowledge and evidence—advancing epidemiology and biostatistics and helping shape public health practice.

As we celebrate this milestone, we honor the people, stories, and contributions that have shaped the Department and continue to inspire its work today.

Qualifications:
🔸At least a Master’s degree holder in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
🔸Ideally with teaching and research experience in public health

Tolentino-Reyes, President and Chair of the Board of the Women’s Health Care Foundation (WHCF), Inc. and former Chancellor of the University of the Philippines Manila. The ceremony will be hosted by the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
