Empowering Excellence through Knowledge, Collaboration, and Shared Commitment
The Northern Iloilo State University – Quality Assurance Office, in partnership with Philippine Ferriby Training & Consultancy, Inc. (PFTCI), proudly hosted the In-House Capacity Building Program: Strengthening ISO 31000 Risk Management & Root Cause Analysis Competence last April 28–29, 2026 at the NISU Mini-Theater, Estancia Main Campus, Iloilo.
This transformative activity was led by Ms. Ma. Cristina M. Corral, a distinguished International Register of Certificated Auditors QMS 9001:2015-certified professional, together with Ms. Sharon C. Canda and Ms. Kaycee Jane Agnes Seriña from Philippine Ferriby Training & Consultancy, Inc. (PFTCI).
Over the course of two days, participants gained practical tools and strategies to strengthen their ability to identify, assess, and address organizational challenges. The program reaffirmed the University’s commitment to proactive risk management, evidence-based decision-making, and continuous improvement.
The initiative was actively participated in by the University’s Top Management, Unit Heads, College Deans, and the Quality Assurance workforce—a clear demonstration of NISU’s unified dedication to fortifying institutional systems and processes.
Together, we continue to cultivate a culture of quality, resilience, and excellence—empowering NISU to thrive in the face of challenges and lead with integrity.
