The Criminology Intern Unit of Gensantos Foundation College, headed by Sir Randie P. Omaya, RCRIM, MSCJ-CAR, together with Ma’am Jenezel F. Piquero-Laguna, RCRIM, proudly presents our Community Immersion Program. A day dedicated to service, connection, and giving back to our beloved senior citizens of Barangay Dadiangas West.

From meaningful activities to heartfelt donations, this initiative reflects our commitment to serve beyond the classroom and make a difference where it truly matters.

In response to the rising transportation costs and extreme heat conditions, starting next week, 13 April 2026 until the end of the semester, GFI College adopts adaptive measures to safeguard the health, safety, and well-being of both students and personnel.

• Temporary Adjustment on Uniform Policy

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: PSSg Drake H Hofer, Traffic Field Investigator, Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) conducted an informative session on the Role and Function of a Traffic Responder for criminology interns of Holy Trinity College, Filipino Canadian Community College Foundation, Inc. and GenSantos Foundation College, Inc. at TEU Conference Room, Pendatun Avenue, General Santos City on April 7, 2026.

The activity was conducted to enhance the interns’ understanding of traffic management procedures and to strengthen their appreciation of the critical roles and responsibilities of traffic responders in ensuring road safety and the effective enforcement of traffic laws.

During the seminar, PSSg Hofer delivered practical lessons and shared field-based experiences aimed at preparing future criminologists for real-life situations in traffic enforcement and public safety operations.

Said initiative reflects the Traffic Enforcement Unit’s continued commitment to collaboration with academic institutions and its active support for the academic development, skills enhancement, and professional formation of future criminologists and public safety personnel.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Criminology interns from GenSantos Foundation College, Incorporated paid a courtesy call to PLTCOL PATRICH A ELMA, Chief, Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU), at TEU Office, Pendatun Avenue, General Santos City, on April 7, 2026.

Said courtesy call allowed the students to observe the operations of the Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) and gain firsthand insight into traffic management and public safety practices.
