The HTC Trinidad Complex roared with excitement as Abre Klase 2026 ร Studentsโ Day brought the HTC community together in a celebration of school spirit, leadership, talent, and camaraderie.
The event began with the Supreme Student Council and Department Student Council Parade and Freshmen Walk, led by the HTC Marching Band. The different colleges CETE, CAS, CTE, CBMA, and CCJE followed, filling the campus with colors, cheers, and pride as freshmen officially began their academic journey.
The energy continued as Dr. Rey T. Albano, School President, officially declared Abre Klase 2026 open. In his message, he welcomed the students and reminded them of the opportunities and challenges ahead. He also shared a simple yet meaningful reminder through the word APPLE, to ATTEND, PARTICIPATE, PRAY, LEARN & LEAD, and ENJOY, encouraging students to strive for success while making the most of their journey as Trinitarians.
The celebration continued with performances from HTC Space Bar, Handuraw, and other socio-cultural organizations, showcasing the creativity and talent of the HTC community.
Leadership then took center stage through the oath-taking of newly elected student officers, followed by the introduction of the HTC Student Council, clubs, organizations, socio-cultural groups, and varsity teams highlighting the many ways students can lead, serve, and belong.
The formal celebration concluded with the closing remarks of Atty. Josemar T. Albano, Provost and Chairman of the BOT, followed by the Grand Closing Salvo.
But the fire did not end there.
With more activities lined up for Abre Klase and Studentsโ Night, the HTC community continued the celebration through games, entertainment, and shared moments.
A new academic year has begun. The stage is set and the CAS Red Dragons have made one thing clear, the fire is only getting started.
