𝐀𝐋𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐇 | 𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐅𝐔𝐋 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐘 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆

‎We thank Allah for the successful 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 of the 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢’𝐚𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 (ShaSSo)‚ on August 26‚ 2025‚ at the AVR‚ under the theme‚ “Anchored in Shari’ah Principles and United in Purpose: Strengthening the Role of Students as Future Leaders‚ Servants‚ and Advocates of Justice.”

‎Before the program formally commenced with a recitation from the Qur’an by one of ShaSSo’s officers‚ Faisal Mohamad‚ the two emcees‚ who are also ShaSSo officers‚ warmly welcomed the students‚ thereby creating a lively atmosphere. They engaged attendees by inquiring about their expectations for the event and encouraging them to freely express their opinions‚ emphasizing that the funds under discussion were theirs.

‎Despite being new to their roles‚ the ShaSSo officers bravely presented and spoke‚ overcoming their fears to make the program a reality. We held each other’s hands‚ a silent reminder that our efforts were for the betterment of ShaSSo. Transparent presentations of each project were given‚ and initiatives aimed at shaping the future of the Shari’ah Society were approved. We appreciate everyone’s active participation‚ perceptive clarifications‚ recommendations‚ and amendments. Your investment reflects your attentiveness and willingness to grow with us.

‎We owe a special debt of gratitude to ShaSSo’s Adviser‚ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐈𝐬𝐧𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐀. 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚, 𝐉𝐃‚ 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫-𝐚𝐭-𝐋𝐚𝐰‚ because her firm support‚ precise corrections‚ and focused guidance greatly benefit the organization’s improvement. During the meeting‚ ShaSSo also appreciated the continued love and sincerity of its former officers who generously offered their mentorship and support; in particular‚ one former officer expressed a willingness to donate funds to the organization. We also want to express our sincere appreciation to the event proponents‚ Hon. Salahuden Macabando and Rubea Ariz‚ for their vision and effort in making this assembly a success.

‎This successful 1st General Assembly has inspired the ShaSSo organization to dedicate themselves even further to their positions and to serve the student body with greater love and commitment in the days ahead. The event concluded with a recitation of the Kafaratul Majlis by one first-year student. Following this‚ the meeting was formally declared adjourned. Alhamdulillah.
