The Department of Electrical Engineering of MSU–General Santos College of Engineering proudly celebrates the publication of “A SARIMAX–SVR Hybrid Approach to Power Demand Forecasting in Distribution Systems” in the 2025 IEEE HNICEM, a Scopus-Indexed international conference proceeding.

This research highlights the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve power demand forecasting, supporting smarter and more efficient energy management. It contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure).

This study demonstrates how artificial intelligence can support sustainable agriculture through the early detection of crop diseases, helping improve productivity and food security.
