๐๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ต๐ฐ๐ด ๐๐ช๐ต๐บ, ๐๐ฉ๐ช๐ญ๐ช๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด โ Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU), held its initial meeting today via Zoom with ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ (๐๐๐จ) to explore potential ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (๐ง๐ก๐๐) partnership.
The virtual engagement marks the formal beginning of collaborative discussions between the two institutions, anchored on the provisions of ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฏ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ฐ๐ ๐ก๐ผ. ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ด, also known as the ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฐ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ต.
During the meeting, NDDU presented the salient provisions of RA 11448 to outline the possible TNHE modalities that may be explored in partnership with HCU. The law provides a framework for structured international academic collaborations, including academic franchising, articulation arrangements, branch campuses, and other cross-border education models designed to expand global access to quality higher education.
The discussion served as an exploratory dialogue aimed at identifying areas of academic alignment, institutional readiness, and shared commitment to quality assurance. Both institutions exchanged perspectives on internationalization strategies and the opportunities that TNHE may offer to undergraduate and graduate students, both locally and internationally.
Both institutions intend to hold a subsequent meeting to thoroughly examine the provisions of CHED Memorandum Order No. 6, s. 2025, with particular focus on the application procedures and regulatory requirements for obtaining authority to offer TNHE programs in the Philippines. This step is essential to ensure full compliance with national quality assurance frameworks and regulatory standards prescribed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Following this, NDDU will formally present and deliberate on its institutional TNHE Guidelines during the scheduled meeting in Thailand in the last week of April. These guidelines are designed to ensure that all prospective international collaborations remain aligned with the Universityโs academic standards, quality assurance systems, governance structures, and strategic objectives for global engagement.
