The Fish Processing Students’ Organization proudly presents the candidates for the BS Fisheries Final Thesis Defense (A.Y. 2025–2026) as they reach this crowning academic milestone. Tomorrow, these dedicated seniors will present the culmination of their extensive research, laboratory analysis, and dedication to the advancement of fish processing technology.

We recognize Lorrea H. Libasa for her study titled “Quality Evaluation of Value-Added Bottled Gourmet Green Mussels (𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢 𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘴) in Selected Flavor Profiles (Adobo, Lemon Garlic, Sweet & Spicy)” and Beverly A. Buisan for her research on the “Influence Of Varying Salt Concentration On The Development Of Fermented Duck Mussel (𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘢) PASTE.” Their work reflects the high standards of scientific inquiry and innovation fostered within the College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the committee of faculty members serving as the board of panelists and advisers, ma'am Rhea H. Armado, MFM, ma'am Lorraine Faye C. Balandan, and ma'am Ellan Joy T. Mandario-Lor, for providing their professional expertise and guidance throughout this rigorous process. The entire FIPSO community stands with our senior researchers as they defend their findings and take this final step toward their professional careers in the fisheries industry.

This event offers on-the-spot assistance and real-time permit validation, featuring PAMB Certification for those who present their letter of intent. Furthermore, researchers conducting studies involving extraction who require PAMB Clearance are encouraged to visit and submit their proposals along with a letter of intent.

The Dream Render Scholar Wave is now officially open for new applications for the Second Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026.

All qualified FIPSO students who wish to apply are required to submit the following documents:

📌 Application Requirements:
1. Certificate of Registration (COR)
• For the Second Semester, A.Y. 2025–2026
• A screenshot of the COR from the student portal is acceptable.

2. School ID or 2x2 Picture
• A clear copy of your current school ID
• If unavailable, a recent 2x2 photo will be accepted.

3. Proof of Enrollment (First Semester, A.Y. 2025–2026)
• College Receipt and Department Receipt upon enrollment
• If receipts are no longer available, you may re-upload your COR, as records will be verified through our database.

⏳ Service Requirement:
Qualified applicants are expected to render 3–4 hours of service time as part of the scholarship commitment.

We encourage all eligible FIPSO members to complete and submit their requirements promptly. Please ensure that all documents are clear, complete, and properly labeled to avoid delays in processing.
