Today, we celebrate the hardworking people who help keep MMG College of General Santos safe, clean, organized, operational, and moving every single day.

𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐎𝐧-𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐌𝐆 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region XII conducted an on-site monitoring of liquidation reports at the MMG College of General Santos City Scholarships Office on April 16, 2026, held at the institution’s conference room. The whole-day activity was attended by Scholarship Officer Mr. Loel G. Calalang, Payroll In-Charge and Bookkeeper Mr. Eric Lacanilao, and School Registrar Mrs. Bella Agustin, with the process photo-documented by the Student Publication Moderator.

In a brief interview conducted by the student publication moderator after the monitoring, the scholarship coordinator shared that CHED provided generally positive feedback on the submitted reports. However, documentation for scholarship grants from 2019 - 2020 remains limited and problematic due to changes in office personnel and it has made some records difficult to retrieve. Despite this challenge, the Scholarships Office assured that it will continue to do its best to comply with CHED requirements to help ensure the timely release of financial assistance to student scholars.

MMG College of General Santos Class of 2026 performed Not Alone and to have it shared by none other than Benjamin Kheng is truly an honor. What started as a heartfelt graduation tribute turned into a moment of recognition from the very artist who inspired it.

Posted on his Instagram story on the very same day of the graduation—April 10, 2026, at 23:07 Singapore time—this moment made the celebration even more meaningful.

𝐌𝐌𝐆 𝟐 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

The MMG 2 Culmination Day, which also serves as the final output of the students under this subject, was successfully held on April 7, 2026. It brought together students, faculty, and guests in a celebration of growth and excellence. Anchored on the theme “Poise, Purpose, Professionalism, and Social Excellence,” the event transformed the MMG College open grounds into a space filled with confidence, learning, and refined presentations. This was made possible through the leadership of Ms. Emerlinda V. Gabisan, LPT, MAEd, whose vision and dedication greatly contributed to the success of the program.

The program featured practical application of classroom discussions such as fine dining ex*****on, toastmaster segments, a ramp walk for personality development, job interview simulations, and the much-awaited Cotillion de Honor. The event ended with an awarding ceremony that recognized outstanding performances which gave the student-awardees with a strong sense of pride and achievement.

In the lenses of an MMG 2 student, the culmination was a clear reflection of the students’ hard work and dedication which was guided by a mentor who made the learning experience both unforgettable and practical.
