Mindanao State UniversityโGeneral Santos continued its ISO 21001:2018 Stage 2 Audit on Days 2 and 3, further strengthening the universityโs commitment to quality assurance, continuous improvement, and internationally aligned educational management systems.
The audit activities focused on the assessment and evaluation of various colleges, graduate programs, and university offices, where auditors reviewed operational procedures, service delivery systems, documentation processes, and quality assurance practices in accordance with ISO standards.
During Day 2, auditors visited the College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, Cultural Affairs Office, Office of International Affairs, Alumni Affairs Office, National Service Training Program (NSTP), Office of Student Housing and Dormitories, and the Business Office. The audit team also assessed the School of Graduate Studies building and classrooms, along with the College of Medicine laboratory.
Meanwhile, Day 3 focused on graduate programs and student support services. Among the academic units evaluated under Site 2 were the graduate programs of the College of Engineering, College of Agriculture, College of Business Administration and Accountancy, and College of Education.
Offices assessed under Site 1 included the University Registrar, Admission and Scholarship Coordinating Office, Civil Security Unit, Guidance and Counseling Office, Office of Student Development and Services, and the Learning and Academic Support Center (CCSID).
Throughout the audit activities, offices and academic units presented their respective operational systems, records, learner-centered services, and best practices that reflect the universityโs dedication to efficiency, accountability, and institutional excellence. The evaluations also provided opportunities to strengthen internal systems and further align university operations with international quality management standards.
The ongoing Stage 2 Audit reflects the collective effort and commitment of the MSUโGenSan community as the university moves closer toward ISO certification. Faculty members, staff, administrators, and support personnel continue to work collaboratively in sustaining quality educational services and fostering a culture of excellence across the institution.
The ISO 21001:2018 Stage 2 Audit will continue in the succeeding days as additional colleges and offices undergo evaluation as part of the universityโs five-day audit process.
