โNo time to waste if we want to help.โ Mindanao State University Alumni Association sends its help to the victims of 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit General Santos City, Sarangani, and the rest of Mindanao last June 8, 2026.
Last June 12, 2026, by resolution no. 02-2026, MSUAA GenSan Chapter sent Php 20,000 as support to the Magtinabangay Relief Operation for Stranded Students of MSU General Santos, wherein 159 students received the relief goods.
On June 18, 2026, MSUAA Inc. through its Project Tabang extended Php 50,000 for the relief operations of MSU General Santos for its employees. It was also noted that 363 MSU alumni in the GenSan Chapter were reached by the said aide.
In both relief operations, MSUAA GenSan Chapter, headed by Dr. Norman Ralph Isla, coordinated with all possible donors for the success of the Magtinabangay Project. MSUAA officers facilitated and worked steadfastly for the fast delivery of the said help. The relief op was led by Mr. Francis Renzo Diaz (PRO) and Dr. Isla and teamed up with Mr. John Michael Macaya (Auditor) and Ms. Rhea Ayop (Treasurer).
โWe are just the hands that can help move it. More than giving back to the community, the MSUAA will always help its alma mater,โ Diaz said.
MSUAA Inc also sent Php 50,000 to MSUAA Dadiangas Chapter, headed by Sir Carlito Dacut III.
