The General Santos City Jail Office – Female Dormitory successfully conducted a Career Guidance and BJMP Information Drive for Criminology students of Pacific Southbay College Inc. (PSCI) today, August 13, 2026, at the PSCI Gym.

The activity featured an informative lecture and discussion on drug awareness and prevention, as well as the functions, roles, and responsibilities of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in serving and protecting the community.

The activity provided students with valuable insights into the realities of the corrections profession and the opportunities available to future criminologists. It also emphasized the importance of discipline, integrity, responsibility, and commitment to public service.

Through activities like this, we hope to inspire and guide the next generation of criminology professionals toward a meaningful career in the field of corrections and law enforcement.
