The League of United Psychology Students (LUPS), in collaboration with the PSY 301 and PSY 302 students of the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite, successfully conducted the second year of the ๐ ๐.๐ง๐.๐ง๐๐. On May 19, 2026, participants took part in discussions on mental health awareness and emotional well-being. ๐๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ ๐. ๐๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐จ introduced the principles of Psychological First Aid, highlighting the three action principles: Look, Listen, and Link. Participants learned how to identify individuals in distress, provide empathetic support, and connect them with appropriate resources. ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง ๐. ๐๐๐๐ฅ then discussed stress management and emotional regulation, sharing practical strategies for managing emotions and everyday stressors.
On May 20, 2026, ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ ๐. ๐๐จ๐ฃ๐ข๐๐ facilitated a session on teenage pregnancy awareness. The discussion focused on its realities, challenges, and responsibilities while emphasizing informed decision-making, self-awareness, and adolescent guidance. Participants gained valuable insights that encouraged responsible choices and personal growth.
Now in its second year, the MA.TA.TAG. Program continues to promote education, awareness, and community empowerment. The League of United Psychology Students extends its heartfelt gratitude to the officials and residents of Barangay San Gabriel IV for their warm welcome, active participation, and unwavering support.
